BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: Sadie is named Student of the month!

Here is what Sadie's teacher, Miss Anderson, had to say about her:

My student of the month for April is Sadie Jepson. Sadie is a wonderful student to have in class. She has really started to shine in our class. Sadie knows all her letters and sounds, plus she is a great role model for her peers.

Her behavior is awesome. She went from a student that I had to keep my eye on to a student that I can rely on to run errands or monitor the class if I have to step out for a second. Sadie has a wonderful personality and is a great friend to her classmates. She is always willing to play with someone that is feeling left out. Sadie, you are doing a great job, keep it up and you will go far. Congratulations!

Sadie receives her certificate for Student of the Month for Kindegarten.

Truman is named Student of the Month for the 4th Grade!

Well, it happened. Truman has been named student of the month! - on the same day as Sadie. He we thrilled! Brian and I (along with Grandma, Grandpa, and Arla) went to the school assembly today to watch the ceremony. Here is what Ms. Blades had to say about Tru:

Truman is an awesome student. I can always count on him to answer the hard questions in class. When I introduce something new, he usually remembers learning about it in third grade and even recalls how it was taught. This fantastic memory also helps him catch on to new concepts quickly. When some of the class struggled with reducing fractions to their lowest terms, Truman became my helper because he was finished with his work so quickly. He had a complete understanding of what he was doing.

Truman's report cards are loaded with A's and it is probably not surprising to know he scored Exemplary in math on the state assessments.

Truman is a wonderful asset to the fourth grade class and I am very pleased to have him as my Student of the Month. Congratulations!

Truman receives his certificate! Yeah, Truman! :)
